In choosing the image of tears, it is my intention to move from portraying tears of grief to tears of joy. Tears are not just shed in sadness. Tears are often cried in moments of great happiness.
When the humble message of the Pope to “heed the cry of the earth and the cry of the poor” is met with resistance, when political figures are praised for openly promoting sexism, racism, and materialism, and when the simple command from Jesus to love your neighbor seems like a radical idea, there is a need for a revolution.

These skills can be developed in every subject area to help students reach their fullest potential. More importantly, these skills are needed beyond the classroom to help our students find success once they leave our schools.
